Andrew Butts was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas and has studied music since his early childhood years.  While studying orchestra at Alamo Heights High School in San Antonio, Andrew was named to the 2016 Texas All-State Orchestra.  He is presently enrolled as an undergraduate double-major in Double Bass Performance and Music Education at the Johns Hopkins University Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore, Maryland.
